Frequently Asked Questions
How often should I visit the dentist?
We recommend patients visit us at least two times each year. This is the best practice as presented by the American Dental Association, and we find that these regularly scheduled visits are just frequent enough to allow our team to prevent many significant oral health issues and diagnose and treat others in their earliest stages.
Can I bring my kids to your office?
We love to treat whole families, and would be happy to welcome your children to our practice. We offer a number of treatment options specifically geared toward kids, and our friendly, welcoming office is comfortable and relaxing for them.
What is CEREC®?
Chairside economical restoration of esthetic ceramics (CEREC®)is a computer assisted design and manufacture (CAD/CAM) system that allows us to design, mill, and place dental restorations like crowns and bridges in a single office visit.
Does teeth whitening work?
Over the counter teeth whitening products are typically not able to offer predictable results, but we offer a number of professional teeth whitening options that can successfully brighten smiles up to ten shades.
Should I consider dental implants?
Any patient missing one or more teeth should consider replacing missing teeth with a dental implant supported restoration. Dental implant retained replacement teeth more closely mimic natural dental structures because they restore the entire tooth from the roots up.
What is Invisalign?
Invisalign is an orthodontic system that uses clear, plastic alignment trays rather than brackets and wires to gradually shift patients’ teeth into their proper alignment.
Do you take my insurance?
We do! We’re happy to process and file claims for any insurance provider, and we are in network with many of the major dental benefit plans.
